Amplifying the Voice of Africa’s Digital Generation

At the heart of the Digital Impact Awards Africa (DIAA) is a commitment to inclusive innovation, including actively involving Africa’s youth in shaping the future. The DIAA Youth Jury is a groundbreaking platform that empowers young innovators, digital leaders, and community champions to evaluate and celebrate the solutions that matter most to their generation.

The Youth Jury independently contributes 10% of the final awards scoring, complementing the decisions of the main jury and public vote. Their perspective brings fresh insights, relevance, and accountability to the awards process.

The DIAA Youth Jury is proudly chaired by Joy Mwesigwa, a rising leader in digital health and community empowerment currently serving as President of My Doctor Community and 26th Vice Guild President at Uganda Christian University, Kampala Campus.
