We assembled a truly exceptional Awards Jury for the Digital Impact Awards Africa. Our jurors are celebrated professionals and thought leaders from Africa and globally, bringing diverse expertise in digital infrastructure, inclusive financial systems, innovation, and technology leadership.
The jurors include a venture capitalist working between Wall Street and Zurich, a Forbes Magazine expert on entrepreneurship and leadership, the Chairman of the Uganda Parliament Committee on Infrastructure, and a distinguished Professor of Computer Science at Makerere University. Notably, the jury includes a National Independence Medalist, awarded by His Excellency, the President of Uganda. International cryptographers, FinTech architects, digital security professionals, and leaders from the Gates Foundation, the Mojaloop Foundation, the COMESA Business Council, and INFITX are also on the panel.
This year’s edition proudly introduces an exceptional Youth Jury, composed of rising African innovators and youth digital leaders. Their independent contribution carries 10% of the final scoring, ensuring that the next generation’s voice is recognised in shaping the future of Africa’s digital economy.
These experts contribute valuable judgment to determine the DIAA winners, applying a structured review methodology based on innovation, inclusion, scalability, and impact.
