Digital Communication Manager, Centenary Bank
Micheal is a marketing and public relations professional with more than nine years of experience in the banking industry. He is currently the Manager of Digital Communication at Centenary Bank, overseeing the development, execution, and monitoring of the Bank’s Digital Marketing and Communication strategy. His focus is on driving customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and enhancing brand equity. Before his appointment as Manager of Digital Communication, he served as a Corporate Communication Specialist at Centenary Bank from 2016 to 2022. Additionally, he served as a Marketing and Corporate Communication Officer at Orient Bank Limited (now I&M Bank), where he acquired broad experience in Marketing, Media and Public Relations, Branding, Internal Communications, and Digital Communication. He possesses strong skills in strategic marketing, stakeholder management, crisis communication, and internal communication, all of which are vital for success in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Micheal is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, where he has obtained Postgraduate Diplomas in Professional Marketing and Sustainable Global Marketing. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, the Public Relations Association of Uganda, and the Uganda Marketers Society, with an MMS in Marketing Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Uganda Management Institute (UMI).
