Barclays Bank
Barclays online banking enables customers to view their account information, and account statements, carry out funds transfers, and pay bills among other functionalities. Barclay’s online banking platform enforces security with SSL and two factor authentication. Barclays has additionally been one of the banks that has deployed a mobile banking application that is available from google play store. The Barclays Bank app can be used on devices such as smart phones and tablets.

Centenary Bank
With CenteMobile, Centenary Bank customers have full access to banking service using their mobile phones when they need it most. Customers can access balance inquiry, account statement, funds transfer, airtime purchase and bill payments. CenteMobile is accessible via USSD and integrates customized alerts by phone/sms for important account information. CenteMobile is one of the pioneer mobile banking services in Uganda. Centenary Bank has contributed to promoting this access mechanism and hence starting the journey of changing customer minds to think mobile banking.
By composing collaboration between banks and operators and developing secure, flexible m-commerce platforms that help build an interconnected and transparent financial ecosystem, money is made more open. As such, Centenary Bank has added mobile money integration enabling push/pull of funds between the bank accounts and mobile money accounts. We believe that when banks and mobile money service providers collaborate to make money open, everyone will benefit.

Crane Bank
Crane Bank’s e-Banking allows balance enquiry, online check for bank statements, latest exchange rates information, funds transfer, bill payment, payment of school fees among other functionalities. Crane Bank also enables e-commerce with VISA cards. Crane Bank has also added mobile banking to its portfolio. This E-Banking platform is private, easy, and convenient, all you need is your customer number and P.I.N to operate.

DFCU Bank’s online/mobile banking services enable funds transfer, access to account balances and transaction history including pending transactions, integrated access to DFCU Financial Visa Platinum account information as well as customized alerts by phone or email for important account information.

PostBank Uganda
PostBank’s Mobile and Internet banking services allow customers to; check account balances, transfer funds, get mini & full statements, pay utility/ bill among other functionalities. Postbank has additionally added a mobile banking app downloadable from google play store. With the app customers are able to have another access mechanism that delivers more information which USSD access would not make possible.

Pride Microfinance
Pride Microfinance is one of the few institutions that has reached out to the low income citizens providing them manageable saving and credit products. As a microfinance institution it is commendable to see the leap Pride Microfinance has taken to embrace mobile banking even ahead of regulated banks with more technology and exposure. In partnership with telecoms, pride mobile banking enables clients to withdraw money from their accounts, deposit money, pay utilities, balance inquiry, inter-account fund transfer and buy airtime.

Stanbic Bank
Stanbic Bank is the largest bank in Uganda by assets and market capitalization. Stanbic Bank has embraced online banking with a dedicated secure e-banking channel and mobile banking using a USSD application. Given the number of clients it serves, the embrace of e-banking comes as a relief to its customers since they would have less necessity to wait in bank queue for some basic services. Additionally Stanbic has integrated with telecom push/pull products enabling transfer of fund to mobile money accounts.

Standard Chartered Bank
Standard Chartered Bank recently celebrated 100 years serving Uganda, a feat that few have attained. Standard Chartered Bank is one of the most technologically advanced banks in Uganda. It has online/mobile banking services that allow customers access to such services as, balance enquiry, bank statement, buying airtime and bills payment among others. The online banking channel enforces security with SSL and has two factor authentication. The bank’s mobile application that is accessible on USSD integrates customized alerts by phone/sms of important account information and events. Standard Chartered Bank has some of the most reliable VISA cards for e-commerce enablement.
